Gourmet Journey: Christmas 2010 decoration part 2

I Love to collect Japanese art and craft magazines and books. Cotton friends was One of my favourite. It is so much fun thing to learn from there. But now the book publishing other contains that not suit my taste, so I don't collect anymore.
Here are so cute ribbon flowers I learnt from that book, basically they publish 4 petals flowers, Clover?? the lucky flower.Find out that can be modified into 2, 3, 4, 5 ,6 or even more petals.

You can use it for hairband, hair clip, cloth, brooch etc

Saya suka mengkoleksi aneka majalah dan buku kerajinan tangan Jepang. Cotton Friends dulu merupakan salahs atu kesukaanku. banyak yang bisa dipelajari dari buku yang terbit 3 bulanan itu. Tapi sayang sekarang isi buku itu mengarah ke hal-hal yangs aya kurangs uka, jadi saya berhenti berlangganan.

Bunga cantik ini saya dapatkan dari buku itu, pada dasarnya buku itu mengajarkan bunga dengan 4 kelopak, Clover?? bunga keberuntungan. setealh dicoba, ternyata bisa di akali menjadi kuncup bunga, bunga berkelopak 3, 4,5 ,6 atau bahkan lebih.

Bunga2 ini nantinya bisa digunakan sebagai hiasan di jepitan rambut, bando, baju dan lain2.

Here is the pattern, cut out at the centre 2 X 2 cm square from a 6 X 6 cm square cardboard.

Using this template to make flower Bud, 3 , 4,5 or more petals flower.

Untuk bunga 4 kelopak, bikinlah pola seperti di bawah ini, gunting kertas karton ukuran 6 X 6 cm persegi, ditengah2nya gunting persegi empat ukuran 2 X 2 cm. dengan menggunakan pola ini bunga2 kuncup, 3 , 4,5 atau lebih kelopak bisa dibikin.

I coloured one side of the cardboard for contrast

Saya mengwarnai salah satu sisi karton sebagai pengganti pita, agar lebih jelas menjelaskannya.

1. Imagine that the pink cardboard is the ribbon. line ribbon, and flip inward just at the 1st inner square, secure with a pin.

1. bayangkanlah karton merah jambu sebagai pita. ukur pita mulai dari sudut seperti di gambar dibawah, lipat ke arah dalam, kunci dengan jarum pentul.

2. flip inward again at another inner corner, secure with a pin.

2. Lanjutkan dengan pojok lingkaran dalam ke dua, lipat pita ke arah dalam (arah kedirimu) , kunci dengan jarum pentul.

3. flip inward again , cut the ribbon and that is the starting point for sewing.

3. Lipat kembali lagi ke arah dalam, potong ujung pita, seperti terlihat di bawah, inilah awal dari kita memulai melujur.

4. cut the excess ribbon as shown bellow.

4. Posisi pita akan seperti di bawah ini, potonglah sisa pita, seperti arah gunting dibawah ini.

5. Start sewing from this point, Only stitching the outer perimeter stitch for the whole circle. Pull it

5. Mulai menjahit, dengan tahap2 dibawah ini, ingat hanya melujur pada lingkar luar saja. bila lujur selingkar penuh, tarik benang, seperti terlihat di gambar bawah ini.

6. Here is the result, secure it by a dead knot, insert the needle to the centre of the flower, insert a golden pearl, sew through the middle and secure with another knot at the back, cut the string and done the flower. repeat the steps for more flowers.

Inilah contohnya, kunci dengan jahitan mati di bawahnya, tusuk kembali jarun dari posisi jahitan mati ke arah tengah dari bunga, tusuk hingga tembus ke depan, lalu masukkan mutiara emas ke jarum sebagai putik sarinya, tusuk kembali jarum ke arah tengah hingga ke belakang, lalu kunci dengan jahitan mati, potng benang dan seelsailah bunganya. Ikutin step yang sama untuk memperbanyak bunga.

For flower Bud

using the same above green template, just flip inward 1 time, and secure with a pin, sew the outer perimeter, pull it, secure with a knot at the back, and here is the flower bud.

Untuk kuncup bunga, cukup hanay lipat satu saja, dan mulai melujur, tahap2 lain seperti yang di atas.

For 3 petals flower, using the same template, flip inward twice, secure with a pin, sew the outer

perimeter, pull the string, secure with a knot at the back, sew through the centre from the back to the front and insert a golden pearl , sew it back to the back through the centre, secure it with a knot. cut out the string.

Begitu juga untuk bunga kelopak 3, prosedur sama seperti di atas.

For 5 petals flower, do flip inward 4 times, and sewing the outer perimeter, pull the string, secure with a knot at the back, sew it back through the centre, insert a golden pearl, sew back to the back, secure with a knot, cut the string. make as much as you need, or you may keep it for future use.
